How to Turn On Buckle to Drive in Your Chevy
What Is Buckle to Drive?
Buckle to Drive is a built-in Chevrolet safety feature designed to help prevent unbuckled driving. When activated, the system delays shifting out of Park for up to 20 seconds if the driver’s seat belt isn’t fastened. It’s a simple but effective reminder that keeps you—and everyone on the road—safer.
At Awesome Chevrolet, we love helping drivers make the most of their vehicle’s technology. Below, our team walks you through how to turn this feature on in just a few taps.
Step-by-Step: Turning On Buckle to Drive
1. Start Your Vehicle
Turn on your Chevy and ensure the infotainment system has fully loaded.
2. Open the Settings Menu
Locate and tap the Settings icon on your center display.
